A family group with a European ambition.
Founded in Geneva more than thirty years ago, Duran Groupe is today an independent Franco-Swiss holding. Our approach combines the rigour of Swiss civil engineering, the finesse of French craftsmanship and the discretion expected by our most demanding clients.
From embassy chancelleries to Alpine villas, from Geneva banking headquarters to industrial units in Berlin, we work wherever precision, confidentiality and aesthetics allow no compromise.
It all began with Duran Omer, the family patriarch, active in construction for more than forty years. His son Duran Abdullah founded DO Bau AG in Geneva in 1994 — the Group's first trading name — joined within the first year by his younger brother Duran Emirhan. In 2011, Duran Omer in turn created DO Rénovation in Paris to bring the family's standards to the French heritage market. The capital remains entirely in family hands. The signature, entirely that of master craftsmen.

Founded in Geneva
Creation of DO Bau AG by Duran Abdullah, son of patriarch Duran Omer, joined within the first year by his younger brother Duran Emirhan. The Group's first trading name.
2001
First banking headquarters
Fit-out of a Geneva banking headquarters, our first project on occupied premises.
2008
First diplomatic project
Complete restoration of an ambassador's residence in Europe.
2011
Expansion into France
Creation of DO Rénovation in Paris by Duran Omer, the Group's patriarch (more than 40 years in construction). A heritage workshop specialising in the private mansions of the 8th arrondissement.
2013
First French banking partnership
Start of the long-term collaboration with Technobat. Work on the Crédit Mutuel Haut-Rhin network (6 branches to date).
2017
German expansion
First industrial project in Stuttgart, opening of the Berlin office.
2019
Direct project delivery for LCL
Complete delivery of an LCL branch handled directly, without subcontracting. A major step in the Group's commercial autonomy.

What institutional clients ask us first.
Always. No sensitive project is ever mentioned publicly without the client's written consent. We have operated under diplomatic confidentiality protocols since 2008. Institution names and images never appear without express authorisation.
Yes, part of our workforce holds clearances issued by the French and Swiss authorities. The composition of the team is approved in advance by the institutional client, and reinforced access controls are put in place on site.
It is one of our specialities. More than 60% of our banking projects are carried out without any interruption to operations: weekly phasing, night work, permanent dust-control airlocks, dedicated teams for each phase.
Between 12 and 24 months, depending on the nature of the works. The initial study phase (assembling the cleared team, validating protocols) takes 4 to 8 weeks before work actually begins on site.
Occasionally, at the client's request and for projects of high strategic value. We assess each enquiry on a case-by-case basis. Our core territory remains the France–Switzerland–Germany triangle.
No, except for ultra-specialised trades (lifts, high-security systems). 90% of each project is carried out directly by our salaried craftsmen — it is our signature and our commitment to quality.
A statutory ten-year structural warranty on the works, a two-year warranty on equipment and a one-year warranty of completed works. For our institutional clients (embassies, banks), we offer a dedicated maintenance service under a renewable annual contract.

Our projects typically range from €500,000 to €50 million, with an average of around €4 million. Below €500,000, we intervene only exceptionally, for returning clients or sensitive sites. We never charge for the preliminary study.
100% independent. The capital of Duran Groupe has been wholly owned by the Duran family since the founding of DO Bau in 1994. No outside investors, no funds, no structural debt. This allows us to decline projects that do not meet our standards.
Every sensitive project has a single dedicated point of contact (SPOC) — one of our directors. Daily reporting (photographs and written notes), weekly site meetings, quality control three times a day (morning / midday / end of day). A client dashboard is available 24/7 on request.
Yes, under certain conditions. We permanently keep one to two teams on standby for urgent situations (water damage or fire at an institutional site, works ahead of an official visit). Response time: 72 hours. Dedicated pricing.
